He holds real estate business sales licenses in Minnesota and Wisconsin and has completed advanced coursework in analysis and appraisal of closely held companies, real estate exchanges and financing. His experience includes the manufacturing and distribution, services and retail business sectors. Rex previously was senior vice president for Valence Health, an operations outsourcing firm, and a senior manager in the Minneapolis practice of Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group. He graduated with M.A. and B.S. degrees from the University of Wisconsin.
Kenneth Edwards served as Vice President of Marketing for Culligan International, a faculty member of Northwestern University, and V.P. Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He is a Certified Management Consultant and holds a B.S., M.S., M.B.A., J.D., and a LL.M. advanced law degree. Ken is founder of Advantage Business Sales, Inc., which operates nationally through ten regional offices and is based in Chicago.
James Kerwin, CPA, ASA specializes in valuation of privately held businesses for more than 25 years. He has numerous certifications, which include Accredited Senior Appraiser and the president of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). He is a Certified Public Accountant and has an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Dwight Cummins, J.D. has practiced law for twenty years, developing specialties in family businesses, ownership transfers, estate planning and real estate transactions. Mr. Cummins attended Bethel College and William Mitchell College of Law; he is admitted to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
William Belvedere, CPA is co-founder of Belvedere & Hysjulien, P.A., a full-service accounting firm providing audit and tax accounting, due diligence and compliance consulting services. Prior to forming B&H, Mr. Belvedere worked in the audit practice of Ernst & Young LLP, and previously operated a successful small business.
