By participating in the process, you'll learn important points about valuation methods and steps you can take to improve terms of a sale. The process is completely confidential and any information shared with our advisors is destroyed or returned to you upon completion at your request. This program delivers an 8-month curriculum via live telephone calls on valuation, revenue growth, deal terms, negotiating and exit planning to get more money from your business. Ideal for owners who want to really prepare for selling, the curriculum for this program applies best practices and is continuously updated to incorporate new ideas from actual business sales, plus relevant market forces affecting small business sales. Each group session focuses on one key element in the planning and selling process. Topics address requirements common to most business sales, but we will present innovative approaches as well. Written program materials are provided to participants. Business names are not used to protect the confidence of participants.Private Business Sale Mentoring Program
For the business owner who is serious about exit planning, Rex provides a comprehensive program for entrepreneurs that want to plan their exit on good terms, from a position of growth. The program will culminate in a customized exit plan in approximately nine months (at your discretion) prepared to optimize your sale. The program includes one day with Rex in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota at your option. (For participants outside the United States, a two-session teleconference option is available.) Work sessions include business positioning, exit strategies, valuation and pricing, sale terms, sale financing issues, personnel retention and sale timing. Not for the uncommitted, the program requires annual company revenue of at least $2 million, a significant investment and a no-cost telephone evaluation.
